Music Reviews: She Wants Revenge

She Wants Revenge debut album is a true gem outshining most competitors on the expanding "electro new goth" scene. Their elegant, sexy and dark romantic act is both absolutely addictive and rewarding on the long range.

Justin Warfield and Adam 12 are brilliant story tellers (the BE Ellis-style lyrics of Tear you Apart should prove it). They also know how to thrill and turn you on through cold synthetic beats, wide melodic waves and intense yet simple guitar playing.

The latest sons of Ian Curtis and Martin Gore have managed to craft trippy rock-disco tracks that exhale urban tension and teenage lust. One of them, Out of control, is a quintessential 80's song. It just flows and makes you want to go back to that club in London, New York or Paris, where you spotted that girl some time ago, and just imagined you were part of the movie... and felt that fantasy IS freedom.

Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order, Psychedelic Furs and Joy Division fans, go straight to your records store, buy the CD, play it again and again and enjoy !
